Interesting facts
Built in 1966, this unique 17-storey office building in Manchester spans the Rochdale Canal. In the 1960s, part of the building became home to the ranks of US Army personnel located next door at Manchester Piccadilly.
As part of the 2002 Commonwealth Games festivities in Manchester, one of the floors in 111 Piccadilly was used as an entertainment venue to host many of the Games' celebrations.
