Kate Vokes

HR Director & Company Secretary

Kate Vokes (née Oglesby) studied at Leeds Business School and worked at Anderson Consulting, Fayrefield Foods (Sales), Rank Hovis McDougall (Marketing) and Safeway (Buying) before completing her MBA at Manchester Business School in 1998.

She joined the family business in 2000 and as Director of HR is responsible for the recruitment and development of the Bruntwood team, as well as embedding the Bruntwood values and way of doing business across the organisation. As a Trustee of the Oglesby Charitable Trust, she plays a very hands-on role in the family's charitable activity and is currently Chair of the Factory Youth Zone in North Manchester, Bruntwood's designated charity for 2010-2015.

Kate is married and has two young boys. Her interests revolve around her family as well as being active, with a particular enjoyment of yoga, tennis, cycling and skiing.
