Rob Yates

Rob is a Chartered Surveyor with over 30 years' experience in property. He began his career in the early 80's at British Rail, before joining Bruntwood in 1989. He was subsequently appointed a main Board Director in 1995.

Rob has held a number of positions during his time at Bruntwood and is currently Director of Customer Service and Property Management. In this role, he is responsible for all aspects of delivery of Bruntwood’s on-site customer service experience, covering over 100 buildings, 2,000 customers and over 270 members of staff. This responsibility encompasses everything from the quality of front of house reception service to the delivery of operational management excellence in the back of house operational management.

Rob has led Bruntwood’s involvement in the Real Service Best Practice Group that brings together many of the UK’s most dynamic property owners, fund managers, and property management companies through a shared passion for best practice in customer service.

Rob also has a diploma in Directorship from the IOD, is a past member of The Academy of Chief Executives and a graduate of the AMP programme at Harvard Business School.

Married with two children, Rob's interests include cooking, music, modern history and all things Italian. He is keen on most sports including cricket, golf, skiing and running, but his most consuming passion is football, with an avid devotion to Manchester City.
