Interesting facts
In September 2011, a statue commemorating the life of Polish pianist Chopin, was erected immediately outside Centurion House. Funded largely by Bruntwood, the sculpture is a symbol of the long-standing ties and relationships that have grown between Manchester & Poland by celebrating one of the lives of Poland's most famous sons. The sculpture measures 3m high and is made of bronze sitting on a sandstone plinth.
