City Tower, Offices
City Tower is located right in the heart of Manchester’s city centre, providing 28 floors of office space with some of the city’s most spectacular views. The building also benefits from Manchester’s largest reception mall, which dissects ground floor level between Piccadilly Gardens and York Street. With over 600,000 sq ft of office space, the building is one of Manchester’s most prominent property icons.
Office space available from 1,000 sq.ft to 170,000 sq.ft
City Tower, formerly known as Sunley Tower, is currently the highest office block in Manchester and was originally built as part of the regeneration of the Piccadilly area. The mezzanine overlooking Portland Street was the birthplace of Radio Piccadilly, now known as Key 103. Among the original tenants of the building were the French and Swiss embassies and surprisingly at one point there was an apartment on the 7th floor that gave views over China Town. In 2005 City Tower became home to two Peregrine Falcons, an endangered bird of prey, which had nested and laid eggs at the top of the building. Works on the building had to come to a swift halt whilst ornithological experts checked the animals were fit and healthy, as well as installing a webcam in the nest, which gave a ‘bird's eye’ view of their activity.
The people below are responsible for the smooth running of the building and making customers’ lives as easy and enjoyable as possible. As you can see from the testimonials throughout the site, our current customers find them invaluable.
