Making a difference
Every year we donate 10% of our profits to environmental, arts and charity organisations.
We do this because it’s the right thing to do and because we want the cities and communities we operate in to prosper. We work hard to support activity that can really make a difference, from investing in climate change research and reducing carbon emissions to encouraging creativity through the Bruntwood Prize for Playwriting and raising money for local charities.

Environment: building a sustainable future
With a target of a 16% reduction in carbon emissions by 2014, we're taking a sustainable approach to all of our operations. From our business model of recycling existing buildings rather than knocking them down, through to investing in leading research on climate change adaption via Eco Cities, our partnership with the University of Manchester.
