Manchester City Art Gallery in the frame
If you spot a striking piece of contemporary art or sculpture around Bruntwood, it's most likely due to our involvement with Manchester City Art Gallery. We've been Gold corporate members for 9 years and have often borrowed art from their collections to display around our buildings and offices.
It's an exciting time to be working with the gallery, which in 2004 underwent a £35m development which saw the addition of a new fully glazed section of building which acts as a link between old and new and hosts many events. It now has a renewed focus on contemporary collecting, ranging from lighting and furniture to sculpture and photography. Recent exhibitions have included Alien Nation, Beyond the Page: Contemporary Art from Pakistan and Joe Colombo: Inventing the Future.
