Bruntwood has welcomed six new businesses to its Liverpool city centre commercial property portfolio.
The North of England property group has secured 12,940 sq ft of lettings at the Grade II listed Cotton Exchange on Bixteth Street.
The largest letting is to training provider Synapse Learning, which has taken an 8,570 sq ft office on a ten-year lease. E.S.M. Design Ltd has signed a three-year tenancy on a 1,350 sq ft suite, shipping company Anjon Freight Services agreed a five-year lease on a 1,100 sq ft office and Lindner Schmidlin Facades Ltd have taken 420 sq ft.
Bruntwood has also let a 650 sq ft suite to Catherine Higgins Law while debt management company Madison Account Control Limited has moved into a 670 sq ft office.
Colin Forshaw, Head of Sales at Bruntwood, said: “We’ve secured ten new lettings at the Cotton Exchange so far this year. It’s testament to the building’s value and quality and enforces our position as a market leader in Liverpool.
“It has been a busy start to 2010 with an ever-growing and diverse customer base. We have worked hard to develop quality office space that best meets our customers’ requirements.”
Richard Beaumont, Chief Operating Officer of Synapse Learning said: “When we were looking for new premises it was essential that we were in flexible, centrally located space. The Cotton Exchange fitted the bill perfectly. What has impressed us even more is the extra mile Bruntwood have gone to manage our fit out and help us to move in. We stopped work on Friday at 5pm in our old premises and were at our desks at 8am Monday, without a hiccup!"
Bruntwood owns 900,000 sq ft across nine major office buildings in Liverpool city centre, including Oriel Chambers and flagship building, The Plaza. The company specialises in flexible leases across its property portfolio. Bruntwood offers offices from 200 sq ft upwards with flexible letting lengths and suite specification.
