Bruntwood attract Cow to City Tower

North of England property firm Bruntwood has let a 6,345 sq ft to vintage clothing retailer Cow, at City Tower in Manchester’s city centre. This deal marks the tenth retail deal Bruntwood have undertaken in 2009 and the fourth at City Tower alone this year.

Bruntwood retail sales surveyor Caroline Bayne said, “We’re delighted to bring Cow to our retail portfolio. We’ve worked hard to attract independent retailers such as this to buildings like City Tower in an effort to create a strong mix between them and the bigger high street names like Marks & Spencer and Starbucks, both of whom are already in occupation at the building.”

Cow operates three other stores in Sheffield, Nottingham and Birmingham and provides a similar retail offering to stores such as Urban Outfitters. The company will take occupation in one of the ground floor units at City Tower on a 10 year lease, leaving only one more retail unit at the building still available to let.
