Bruntwood proudly sponsors MIF, the world’s first festival of original new work and was set up to celebrate Manchester’s role as an instigator and innovator in the cultural life of the country. Featuring works from across the spectrum of performing arts, music, visual arts and popular culture, it has quickly established itself on the international arts calendar and is a major addition to the richness and vibrancy of the city.
MIF’s headquarters are housed in Bruntwood’s Blackfriars House, providing a characterful and vibrant work space to reflect the original and creative spirit of the Festival. Bruntwood is currently developing a privately accessed roof garden for the building with a landscaped terrace, lawned breakout spaces, over 30 freshly-planted trees and panoramic views over the city.
