The centrepiece of St James’ is the original Oak Panelled Boardroom, in this stunning Grade II listed building. With two meeting rooms accommodating up to 70 delegates, St James is one of the region’s most sought-after venues for small to medium conferences, team building and away days, training sessions, trade exhibitions, board meetings, product launches and networking and corporate events.  The main boardroom also has an ancillary room meaning that it can be used as break out space or for serving food. Interesting facts

St James’s Building has a canal that runs underneath it and was at one point a famous theatre and music hall, home to the famous Tiller Girls and their infamous dance routines. The ninth floor was made up entirely of executive toilets. St James was built in 1912 and achieved a listed building status because of its steel frame construction.
