The Plaza was originally Littlewoods head office. Now famous for catalogue shopping, Littlewoods once ran the internationally renowned pools empire. The Safe hidden away in the basement car park has looked after some fantastic items, such as the large cheques that were presented to lucky pools winners the famous Littlewoods Cup. The building has housed some more unusual guests recently, looking after a herd of Lambanana’s as they prepared for their outing as part of Liverpool’s capital of culture celebrations.
