Health and safety
Managing the safety of everybody in our buildings is a major responsibility and this team designs and delivers our health and safety procedures across our whole portfolio. They also make sure that all our contractors and suppliers conform to the Bruntwood standards of safety, creating a consistent business-wide approach.

“The range of activities undertaken by the health & safety team to provide the management system plus the skills and competence for the operational teams is diverse. A typical day may include delivery of formal training like IOSH Managing Safely, to advising on water hygiene or a building visit to provide guidance or undertake an inspection.
As well as the challenge of ensuring that there is effective risk management in Bruntwood there are varied opportunities to become involved with volunteering opportunities, sports and social events. One of the recent highlights at Bruntwood for me has been learning to play Real Tennis which I can best describe as like playing squash, tennis and chess simultaneously which is physically and mentally demanding!”
