Suite refurbishment

When customers move on from their existing office suites, our suite refurbishment team are the  people who make sure that the space is given a new lease of life.

With a rolling programme of refurbishing office space as it becomes vacant, this team are constantly on the go, looking after every aspect of the specification and renovation of our existing office suites. From upgrading heating and ventilation systems to improving suite layouts and redecoration, this team works hand-in-hand with the building teams to make sure that we are meeting the needs of prospective customers.

Here's what some of the team members have to say about working at Bruntwood:

"Bruntwood welcomes, with open arms, surveyors who are looking to carry out the RICS Assessment of Professional Competence. They have a structured training agreement in place to ensure that we meet and exceed the required standards,  which has been developed over many years.  Bruntwood assist with the APC in every way they can, from increasing areas of work experience in other fields of expertise, to mock interviews.

With such a large portfolio of buildings, the work I do is varied to say the least! Within the Development team we carry out project management, contract administration, specification, cost analysis for the refurbishment office space, customer fit-outs and redevelopment of buildings from decoration to major project works to name a few. We also carry out dilapidation's surveys/negotiations and procurement projects.

I couldn’t imagine the freedom and responsibility that I would be given when I first started my placement. In addition, the breadth and interest I have derived from my work has made me very passionate about what I do in the future; I could never have imagine that this side of construction would be this interesting when I was at university. I think the experience I have gained at Bruntwood has driven me even harder to pursue a career in the area of building surveying.

I’ve always been treated with respect, my opinions are valued and I feel very much part of the team."
